Child Soldiers

I chose this topic because it was all new to me and i wanted to try something new. And it was pretty interesting. The websites i used was Wikipedia and google :) I chose the information because it was irrelevant to my questions. 

Here is a little bit of information i have left out? which is the useful things to help me through the presentation and notes

• Google → Useful paragraph: “Children in the military are children who are associated with military organisations, such as state armed forces and non-state armed groups. Throughout history and in many cultures, children have been involved in military campaigns. For example, thousands of children participated on all sides of the First World War and the Second World War. Children may be trained and used for combat, assigned to support roles such as porters or messengers, or used for tactical advantage as human shields or for political advantage in propaganda” this was copied from the internet and i found this useful because it was pretty interesting and i could visualize children soldiers

Critical Litercay

1) the women in this video was fairly quiet and she was dressed up in poufy dresses, also she needed a man in her life to make her life "perfect" and in this video the men was expected to work outside and do the lawn etc and the women was expected to be the housewife such as cleaning up around the house 

    2) The first video needed a man and the second did not and she was being quite loud and proud that she got it in so she could rub it in her face and she must've felt like pretty proud since she passed and proved her ex very wrong. and people think blonde and blue eye women's are suppose to be dumb



How are adults constructed in this text:

* in the second one it seemed that they expected the blonde to be dumb. ( second text) - Kiera
I agree with both of these thoughts and opinions// facts of their own because they are quite both noticeable and like able to see what's going on clearer I guess I would say the same aha

Who is Harriet Tubman? 
Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist and political activist She was born in Dorchester County, Maryland grown up into slavery she escaped whilst rescuing 70 enslaved people including family and friends, she had two children and 15 siblings. And died on march 10th 1913 \ 

What is the underground railroad and how did people get there?

The Underground Railroad was a network of secret routes and safe houses established in the United States during the early to mid-19th century, and used by enslaved African-Americans to escape into free states and Canada. 

What are spirituals?
Spirituals are rythimkic songs that the slaves would work to, too help them stay in beat.
